Knights of Columbus Bingo House Rules

Admission and Seating

Minimum Purchase: Due to limited seating, every person entering the Bingo area must purchase an Entry Bingo Packet.

Active Players Only: All seats are reserved for active players; spectators or non-players are not permitted to occupy seating in the Bingo area (without approval in special circumstances).

No Seat Saving: Seats should not be reserved using personal belongings. Family/Friends that want to sit together should try to arrive together. A seat is only considered occupied once a valid receipt or admission pack is present at that location. (Exceptions can be made with special accommodations.)

Age Requirements: No one under 18 allowed in the Bingo Hall, with the exception of our Youth volunteers.

Card and Pack Policies

No Card Sharing: Splitting or sharing bingo packs/sheets between players is strictly prohibited. (Exceptions can be made for an Active Player with special accommodations only if it's by another Active Player.)

Valid Receipts: Players must always keep their buy-in (Entry Packet or current Special card) visible.

Marking Cards: Paper cards must be marked with a permanent ink dauber to be valid for a win.

No Card Exchanges: Bingo cards are sold randomly; players may not select their own cards, and exchanges are only permitted for manufacturing defects.

Gameplay and Winning

Calling Bingo: It is the player's responsibility to raise their card in the air and yell "Bingo!" loudly enough for the caller to hear and stop the game and high enough for Bingo staff to identify them.

Last Number Called: To be valid, the "Bingo" must be called on the last number announced.

Official Numbers: Only the number drawn and announced by the caller are official. Numbers displayed on video monitor is for convenience only and do not constitute a win.

Multiple Winners: In the event of multiple winners for the same game, the prize money is split equally among all verified winners.

Closed Games: Once the caller officially closes a game, no further bingos will be honored for that round.

Conduct and Etiquette

Silence Devices: Cell phones and other electronic devices must be silenced during active gameplay.

Minimum Noise: Conversation should be kept to a minimum out of respect for other players trying to hear the caller.

Behavior: Verbal abuse, profanity, or disorderly conduct toward staff or other players will result in immediate removal from the premises.

Management Decisions: The floor manager’s decision is final in all disputes regarding gameplay or rules.
