Mass on the Mountain

Mass on the Mountain brings parishioners closer to God!
The purpose of the event is for us to pray over the Santa Fe Valley and all New Mexico (from the Lookout at the Santa Fe ski base and you can see the Sandia, Jemez and the Sangre de Cristo mountains, Los Alamos, Espanola, and Santa Fe. We pray all over New Mexico and the United States of America.
Just as Abraham, Isaac, Moses, Elijah, and Jesus all climbed mountains to meet God.
You can do the same, every year 10 AM Second Saturday, October.
“Mass on the Mountain” is a beautiful and uplifting experience. “Just as Jesus would climb a mountain to pray, we are doing the same to keep following His journey in ourselves. Those who have attended the event said they enjoyed being closer to God and nature during the gathering and will be ready to attend another “Mass on the Mountain” next year when it is held.
This year the event is SCHEDULED to be at 10 AM October 12, 2024 at the Lookout at the end of State Road 475, just before the Santa Fe Ski basin.
Remember, the ski lifts are running this weekend because the aspens are in full color. You can make this an all day event enjoying God’s creation.
