Feeding Santa Fe’s Kids Together With the Adelante

In the ongoing effort to ensure Santa Fe’s kids have enough to eat, the Knights of Columbus Council 10517 and our Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Community came together for our “Help Feed Santa Fe’s Kids This Fall 2026” food drive, benefiting the Adelante McKinney-Vento Program at Santa Fe Public Schools (facebook.com/sfpsadelante).

Every year, this program supports about 1,100 students experiencing homelessness or housing instability, making sure they have the resources they need to succeed in school. Thanks to the generosity of our parish family, food donations collected throughout August were delivered on Tuesday, September 1st, going directly toward stocking the pantry these families rely on all school year long.

A huge thank-you to everyone who donated, dropped off items, and helped spread the word. Every can, box, and bag makes a real difference for a child right here in our community!
