Chalice Memorial Tribute for Sir Knight M. Rudy Lujan

Sir Knight M. Rudy Lujan passed away on July 19, 2024. The Fourth Degree had a Chalice Memorial Tribute this past Saturday at the 5 PM mass at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Community. As a Fourth Degree Sir Knight member, the assembly engraves his name on a chalice that will be used in the daily sacrifice of the mass.  

His remembrance reflects the Knights’ principles of charity, fraternity, and patriotism, honoring the Knight’s service to the Church and community. The family of the deceased participated in the chalice presentation; it was done during Mass. The chalice serves as a sacred vessel for the Eucharist, symbolizing the Knight’s enduring bond with the Church and his eternal reward in heaven. All Sir Knights listed on the chalice are remembered in every Mass in which the chalice is used.
